The Letter
Dear Delegates and Emerging Diplomats,
It is my honour to welcome you to MUNIK XVI, taking place from 6-8 February 2026 at IBA Karachi.
Since its inception, MUNIK has helped shape Pakistan's debating culture by providing a space where young voices could engage, question, and lead. Over the years, thousands of delegates have stepped into our committee rooms and discovered what it truly means to articulate an argument, defend a principle, challenge an assumption, and collaborate toward solutions that reflect the complexities of the real world.
As we step into our sixteenth edition, we are renewing that spirit with a sharper focus on safe debate spaces, accessible discourse, and genuine academic quality, ensuring that every delegate, regardless of experience, has the chance to learn, contribute, and grow. MUNIK has always believed in meeting delegates where they are, and pushing them to grow into sharper, more thoughtful versions of themselves.
As we approach MUNIK XVI, I am excited for you to experience the dedication my Secretariat has invested in strengthening our committees and deepening the substance of every discussion.
